On the 24th of February 2016, Kolej Sakura once again held its biannually meeting between the college student residents and the college’s principal and Fellow; this meeting is often dubbed as ‘Perjumpaan Bersama Pengetua dan Felo’.
At 7.30 p.m., the signing-in process began and the student residents all gathered in Lecture Hall 1, Central Teaching Facilities 1 (CTF1). After that, it was Cik Ain’s turn to give her speech. She wished everyone a warm welcome, particularly the final semester students whom she congratulated for being able to stay as the college’s residents for as long as they did. She then did her usual explanation and reminder of the college’s rules and policy as well as taking note of the new room assignation system in which floor and the type of room the student is assigned to depend on her achievements in the college. Cik Ain urged the students to view this as a positive change and as a motivation to contribute more to the college.
She also proudly showcased achievements Kolej Sakura has obtained during the previous semester by listing them off in a slideshow. Laughter could be heard as funny yet nostalgic photos of the students were shown. Before she ended her speech, Cik Ain once again welcomed the students back to the college and said that she looked forward to achieve more success together with its student residents.
