Last minute study plan is regarding making a plan for
study by being aware of several things such as the date and venue of the exams,
the course syllabus, the course materials and creating a study schedules with
breaks and not cramming. Leveraging study tools is about using tools such as
mind maps, flash cards, audio and video resources wherever possible and needed.
As it is the final sprint, the speaker gave
recommendation to take a look at the course syllabus and figure which
particular sub-topics that students are not confident in and focus more on that
part. He also greatly emphasised on avoiding distractions by encouraging
students to find study spots where they will not be easily distracted as well
as learning to say no to distractions.
He also advised to study past papers should it be
available and examine the trends for that subject as there are finite number of
questions that the lecturer can ask. He told all the students to sleep well
before the exam, stay calm and pray as well as making that everything needed
for the exams are prepared and packed inside the bag.
After the talk, there was a Question and Answer session.

marks are not satisfactory. To which, he answered, “Face reality. Make sure the
final exams you get full marks. For subjects that is 4 credit hours, give more
attention and time.” Another question was on how to cope with external
stimulus. The answer he gave was “Be proactive. You make the choice on how to
react.”
