LGBT 2.0 : SOAL JAWAB LGBT





10 DISEMBER 2016 -
 Pihak Jawatankuasa Surau Sakura, JASSA, telah menganjurkan satu program yang bertajuk Gender  & LGBT yang bermaksud Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual dan Transgender. Program berbentuk ceramah ini bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar UNIMAS berkaitan fenomena ini dengan lebih jelas. Ceramah ini bermula pada pukul 8.30 pagi sehingga 1.00 petang bertempat di Dewan Seminar di PITAS.

Dr. Mohd Izwan bin Md Yusof (Penceramah LGBT)


 Program ini menjemput penceramah dari Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) iaitu Dr. Mohd Izwan bin Md Yusof yang merupakan Penolong Pengarah Kanan Cawangan Sosial, Unit 'Ilaj wa Syifa' Juvana, Penagih Dadah Dan Penyalahgunaan Alkohol Bahagian Pembangunan Keluarga. Beliau yang berasal dari Ketereh, Kelantan mempunyai Ijazah Salahuddin Al-Quran dan Hadis di USM.

Program ini dibahagikan kepada dua slot iaitu tentang  'Memahami persoalan secara umum' dan 'Maksud simbol Rainbow'.


Sesi soal jawab daripada peserta

LGBT menurut Al-quran dan Al-sunnah  ialah sebagai agama yang praktikal, Islam merupakan panduan cara hidup dari segala aspek kehidupan termasuk seksualiti manusia. Walaupun Islam mengesahkan hubungan seksual dalam perkahwinan sebagai suatu nikmat dan salah satu daripada rahmat Allah SWT kepada insan, namun pada waktu yang sama Islam menegah sekeras-kerasnya melakukan hubungan seksual luar nikah. Islam akan menghukum mereka yang terlibat dengan jenayah seks seperti zina, rogol, dan liwat.

Antara faktor penyebab perlakuan LGBT ialah pada asuahan ( Fatherless, Lack of Love, Over protective) , pengalaman hitam ( Pernah dirogol / diliwat / oral seks ) , dibuli atau diejek ( Menjejaskan emosi mereka yang dibuli / diejek ) , pornografi ( Narkotik lewat mata ) serta persekitaran ( Pergaulan di kalangan komuniti LGBT ).


Penceramah turut menyediakan pusat perkhidmatan nasihat serta pemulihan tentang perkara ini  yang diberi nama Grup Iqra' yang beralamat No.12, Jalan SP4/18, Bandar Saujana Putra, Elite Highway, Selangor. Penyerahan cenderahati

Program ini diakhiri dengan sedikit sumbangan cenderahati oleh pihak Jassa kepada penceramah yang disampaikan oleh Presiden Kolej Sakura, Elisa Elizebeth.

SAKURA@KENYALANG: Movie Night, Hanabi & Sky Lantern


Pada malam itu, satu pertunjukan filem Jepun telah diadakan kepada semua pelajar Sakura. Aktiviti ini telah diadakan di pentas utama Festival Sakura@Kenyalang. Turut sama memeriahkan Movie Night ini ialah Cik Siti Nor Ain, Pengetua Kolej Sakura dan Felo serta barisan JPK Kolej Sakura.

Selepas selesai pertunjukan filem tersebut, aktiviti diteruskan dengan pertunjukan Hanabi atau bunga api. Sebanyak 100 tembakan Hanabi telah dilepaskan. Pertunjukan Hanabi ini diadakan berhadapan pentas utama Festival Sakura@Kenyalang.


Sebelum berakhir aktiviti pada malam itu, Sky Lantern telah dilepaskan. Ia dirasmikan oleh Pengetua Kolej Sakura sendiri dan diikuti oleh peserta-perta yang menyertai.










SAKURA@KENYALANG: Acoustic


Associated with Sakura@Kenyalang festival, acoustic battle of the band was held. The theme that was consigned for this event was Woman. It was held at the main stage of Sakura@Kenyalang festival. There were about 11 groups whom participated this battle from other college. The judges for this event were Miss Siti Martini Ambros, Mr Jason Balang and Mr Simon Joli.

The VIP at the event were Cik Siti Nor Ain, Pengetua Sakura College, Cik Farida, Felo Sakura College, Elisa Elizabeth, President of JPK Sakura College and Wan Nor Azliza, Director of Sakura@Kenyalang Festival. Before the event ended, Cik Siti Nor Ain gave each of the groups and the judges a gift as a Thank You symbol. The winner will be announced in the closing ceremony.




The Making of Daie


The Making of Daie ialah program yang julung kali diadakan. Tujuan utama program ini adalah memilih ahli Jassa yang baru. Jassa ialah jawatankuasa Surau Sakura. Mereka inilah yang akan menguruskan surau di kolej Sakura. Program ini disertai sebanyak 30 orang pelajar Muslimat Sakura. Mereka merupakan antara senaraijaya yang telah dipilih oleh MT Jassa.


Selepas pendaftaran program ini diteruskan dengan aktiviti ice breaking. Setiap peserta dikehendaki memperkenalkan diri masing-masing. Setelah itu, para pelajar telah diberikan sekeping kertas yang telah dituliskan nama kumpulan. Mereka telah dipecahkan kepada 4 kumpulan. Antara nama kumpulan ialah kumpulan Anjing, kumpulan Serigala, kumpulan Ular dan kumpulan Lebah.


Aktiviti permainan boom sesame kumpulan dijalankan, semua pelajar dikehendaki solat Dhuha berjemaah. Setelah itu, permainan boom dijalankan. Semua kumpulan dikehendaki memboom kumpulan lain dan kumpulan yang mendapat boom paling banyak akan kalah. Seterusnya, aktiviti riadah pada waktu pagi diadakan. Permainan bola keranjang telah dipilih sebagai sukan untu riadah. Pemenang bagi sukan ini ialah kumpulan Lebah.


Selepas riadah, para pelajar diberikan rehat beberapa minit sambil menikmati sarapan pagi yang telah disediakan. Program ini diteruskan dengan perbincangan dalam kumpulan bagi melakonkan 10 muwasafat tarbiyyah. Setiap kumpulan diwajibkan untuk berlakon selama 5 minit dan dihakimi oleh MT Jassa. 


Selesai aktivit lakonan itu, program ini menjemput Cik Siti Nor bagi menyampaikan tazkirah sebelum menunaikan solat fardhu Zuhur. Tajuk tazkirah ini ialah Dakwah Nombor 1 tetapi Akademik Nombor 2. Selepas solat fardhu Zuhur berjemaah, semua pelajar dihidangkan dengan makanan tengahari sebelum program bersurai.








Variasi Bahasa


Terdapat 2 sesi untuk program variasi bahasa ini. Sesi pertama ialah pada waktu pagi. Pada sesi ini, pertandingan debat telah diadakan. Hakim jemputan untuk pertandingan ialah saudari Safuha binti Mohd Yusuf. Pertanding ini disertai oleh 2 kumpulan pencadang dan 2 kumpulan pembangkang. Pertandingan debat ini dinamakan sebagai debat dialek. Semua peserta dikehendaki menggunakan dialek mereka sendiri.


Tajuk pertandingan debat disidang pertama adalah sistem merit di kolej. Kumpulan pencadang dan pembangang saling mempertahankan hujah masing-masing dengan sangat bijaksana. Pada sidang kedua, pertandingan debat diteruskan dengan tajuk yang berbeza. Sewaktu sidang ini, tajuk yang ditetapkan ialah orientasi wajar diteruskan untuk pelajar universiti. 


Seterusnya, sesi kedua dijalankan pada waktu petang. Pada sesi ini, pertandingan bersajak telah diadakan. Antara juri pada pertandingan ini ialah Nurul Hafizah, Exco Akademik MPP dan Nurazan Zafirah, Exco Kesenian MPP. Pertandingan ini telah disertai oleh 8 orang pelajar Sakura. Tetamu kehormat pada pertandingan ini ialah Cik Siti Nor Ain dan Cik Farida.


Selepas pertunjukan montaj, program diteruskan dengan penyampaian hadiah. Pertandingan debat telah dimenangi oleh kumpulan Pancaindera, tempet kedua, kumpulan Iris dan tempat ketiga, kumpulan Cik Kelate. Bagi pertandingan sajak, tempat pertama dimenangi oleh Ainur Nasrin, Roses Nono dan Nur Sabrina. Sebelum bersurai penyampaian cenderamata kepada tetamu kehormat, hakim dan juri.








Malam Gala Sakti


             December 11th, Sakura’s Annual Dinner, the Malam Gala Sakti, was held at Sarawak House, Grand Continental Hotel. The theme for the dinner was ‘Flower Power’ whereby participants were encouraged to wear attire or accessories that fit the theme. The dinner was held to appreciate Sakura College’s students whom have contributed a lot to the college. 

            The list of invited guests to the event include the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni, Prof Mohd Fadzil and his wife, Vice Registrar of Pusat Khidmat Pelajar, Mr Nasriman and his wife, Principal of Sakura College, Ms Siti Nor Ain, Program Director of Malam Gala Sakti, Ms Elisa Elizabeth, whom is serving concurrently as President of Student Representative Committee (JPK) of Sakura College 2016/2017 Session and Felo of Sakura College, Dr Hasmaliana.

           The event began with singing the UNIMAS Gemilang, UNIMAS Official Song as well as Tekad Sakura, Sakura College Official Song. The audience were then presented with the montage video created by Sakura Editorial Board (SEB) of events and activities held during the year 2015/2016. 


          Then, the event proceeded with the welcoming speech from Ms Ain where she gave her appreciation to the invited guests for coming to the dinner, to the Student Representative Committee as well as to the achievements made by the students of Sakura College. She also expressed her hopes that the first year students would be able to gain inspiration from the achievements of their seniors.


            Prof Mohd Fadzil were then invited to give his speech as well as to officiate the event. He explained that he had been invited to Malam Gala Sakti for 6 years and never failed to attend or to send his wife as his representative, and that he had watched the transformation of Sakura College from Kawaii to Warriors. He also congratulated Sakura College for being able to organise a dinner outside of the campus and for organising great events.

 Paraphrased from Prof Mohd Fadzil’s speech and translated into English:

“Once in a while, it is good to organise a dinner outside of the campus and participate in order to get the ambience, atmosphere and experience. To start something, there is always negative views. However, after some time, it becomes a tradition (referring to Malam Gala Sakti that has been held for 6 years now)”

           When referring to organising great events, Prof Mohd Fadzil related his experience while visiting the campus one day. He and his driver were near Dahlia College when he saw some ambulance which instilled some worry in him and he told his driver to approach that area. While on the way, he saw students pouring water and coincidentally the road was red in colour and he asked what is going on and received the answer, Colour Run. He also said that university age is the age where we have the most fun. 

 A few slices of life from Prof Mohd Fadzil:

“Life is simple, if you understand others.”

Translated from Bahasa Melayu, “Patience is part of the test.”

            He ended his speech by expressing his hope that Sakura College will continue to succeed.
The event continued with dinner while watching the montage videos of every unit in Sakura College and then, a modern dance performance by representatives from Anak Seni Sakura, Arts and Culture Unit of Sakura College. A lucky draw slot was next followed by presentation of the Special Awards.



 

             The Special Awards were White Lily, for Upright Character, won by Maisarah Bt Hussian; Tulip, for Arts and Culture, won by Samantha Anak Ambie; Pheony Flower, for Entrepreneurship, won by Nur Nasuha Bt Sani; Statice Flower, for Publicity, won by Sharifah Alia Amilla; Gladiolus, for Sports, won by Amirah Mazlin Abu Bakar; Iris, for Academic Achievement, won by Nurshafiqah Badroll Hisham; Larkspur, for Most Active Student, won by Noor Alya Nadhirah Roseli; and last but definitely not least, Anemone , for Excellent JPK, won by Wan Azliza Wan Daud (the previous President). The Special Awards were presented by Prof Mohd Fadzil.



          
            Then, the audience were presented with an acoustic performance, also from representatives of Anak Seni Sakura. Then, a performance from the JPK 2016/2017 Session with the song, Pencuri Hati by Ayda Jebat. Followed by, presentations of certificates to the previous JPK of 2015/2016 Session by Cik Ain and then another slot of Lucky Draw. Queen of the Night (Miss Sakura 2016) was also crowned, a Ms Shereena Anak Obeng.


          Appreciation gifts to the invited guests were presented. Ms Ain’s by the President, Elisa Elizebeth; Mr Nasriman’s and Prof Mohd Fadzil’s by Ms. Ain. The dinner ended with a group photo of the invited guests and another with the audience.
