Konvensyen Wanita Anggun: Acoustic & Fashion Show, Closing Ceremony

About 200 Sakurians and a small number of other students from other colleges started to gather around at the Panggung Gemilang, Cempaka College for the final night which was the closing ceremony of Konvensyen Wanita Anggun, KWA. It was also attended by three important persons; Dean of Centre for Student Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Raudzah Ghazali, Head of (Principal) Sakura College, Miss Norain Hj Musa and Head of (Principal) Bunga Raya College, Mr. Mohd Hafizan Hashim. Unfortunately, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UNIMAS, Prof. Mohd Fadzil Abdul Rahman was unable to join the crowds due to his other important errands, according to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Raudzah's speech.

The show began at 8:00 PM by reciting a prayer and followed up by a speech from Ng Chai Yin, the leader of Communication and Career EXCO of Sakura College, which was also the director of KWA. She has highlighted a statement of thanking everyone which has made the convention a success.

Next thing was the peak of the ceremony - a speech from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Raudzah Ghazali and later officiating the closing ceremony of the Konvensyen Wanita Anggun. In her speech, she has pointed out the benefits of managing and doing such convention and not to forget congratulating everyone for their participations and supports. She also hopes such convention could be made in the future.

By the time the ceremony has been officiated, it was next the time for colleges' performances. Started with a strong and sensational performance from Bunga Raya College's Choir team, everyone at the Panggung Gemilang has devoured in silence to let the harmonized and creative way of delivering the two songs, Tanah Pusaka and Loves Is an Open Door steal everyone's attention. An acoustic performance by The Sumandak from Sakura College followed up after the Choir's from Bunga Raya College. With a creative medley of I Will Survive, Survivor, Seksis and All About That Bass, their rendition never fail to put people into the state of amazed by. Inhesitantly, The Sumandak deserved hands down and a heavy applauses from everyone at the Panggung Gemilang.

Due to the fact that every colleges are busy with their own events, unluckily they did not manage to send their respective representative for the Fashion Show. Thus, the ceremony only proceeded to the next part.

Montage contented with videos and photos from all the activities happened along the three days of the convention has been played right after the performances. That was later came up with the presentation of souvenirs to the respective important persons. At 9:30PM on April 26, 2015,  has officially marked the ending of the closure ceremony of Konvensyen Wanita Anggun 2015.

Having lined it out, the Konvensyen Wanita Anggun 2015 with the main aims of appreciating self worth, exposure to women's rights and importance of self defence techniques have been achieved as what has been aired up by Ng Chai Yin during her speech. Hoping that this convention, which was actually the continuation of the past year's would be continued with more amazing events in the future. Undoubtedly, participants have gained more from this time's Konvensyen Wanita Anggun especially about women's rights.
