24 February 2019, Sunday – In order to encourage the Sakura-ians to be active in sports, the Sports and Recreational Exco had organized a program called “Sakura Sports Day”. It was held for one day at the Sakura Court with four teams competing for netball and five teams in futsal. The program started a bit late because of unavoidable weather condition until noon. Exactly at 1:00 p.m. the players and the committee members scanned the QR Code for their attendance for fifteen minutes.

Food and drinks were given to the players right after
completing their registration. Warming up session for the players started at
1:20 p.m. before proceeding with the game to avoid injuries. The games started
simultaneously at 1:30 p.m. with netball in their own court meanwhile futsal in the basketball court. Despite playing under the hot weather, the players showed great
determination and teamwork.

At 4:00 p.m. after the games ended, the players were told to
gather in front of the Sakura Minimart for the closing ceremony. It started with a speech from the director of the program, Miss Nur Alia Aqila
Binti Md Zin. She expressed her gratitude towards the players and the committee members for giving
support to the program and for their hard work during the game. Miss Alia ended
her speech with the announcement of the winners and prize-giving ceremony. The
program ended with the photo session with all the players.
