Sunday, 13 Mac – It was raining but the show goes on. Students whom joined the half-day event were dropped off at the nearby mosque. While the Muslims were inside the mosque praying solat dhuha, the non-Muslims were playing an ice-breaking game with each other.

            Around 9.00 am, all participants were lead through the warming-up exercise as well as the senamrobik. They had songs such as gummy bear and poco-poco. The entire senamrobik went on for about 40 minutes. Then, a short breathing exercise at the end.

            After that, they sang the theme song together, that is, “Jalinan by U.N.I.C”. The participants were then divided into 4 groups, each having 8-9 people. They were divided into groups based on slips of paper that each participants picked. To find each other’s group members, they had to make the sounds of the animals that were written on the slips. The groups are Kambing, Harimau, Kucing and Ular.

           Each group were told to pick a leader before the LDK session began. During the LDK, they had to come out with the group cheer and group identification made of colour paper such as bracelets and cat’s whiskers. The participants and activity coordinators then moved out to Halaman Samarahan.

At the basketball court, they played “Bola Beracun” which basically is passing the ball while the music is on. When the music stops, the ones holding the two ball had to come out to the middle of the circle and face a punishment that were chosen like doing the chicken dance.

The next game is “Perigi Beracun” which is like dodge ball but with the teams acting as defenders and attackers. The defenders have to dodge the balls and the number of defenders left standing will be counted. The two teams will then switch their roles. The winning team is decided by how many defenders are left standing at the end. Between Kambing and Kucing, the Kucing has won the round with their swift dodges whereas in the other round Ular have defeated the Harimau. With Kucing versus Ular, the results gave the win to Kucing.

In “Belon Air”, group members have to line up in a column where the balloon will be passed from the front to the back by throwing the balloon up in backwards direction. Kucing won with 5 balloons, Harimau (4) and both Kambing and Ular with 2. As there was a draw, an extra deciding round was played to find out the final finalist. In the extra, Kambing got the win. In the finals, Kambing won with 8, Harimau (7) and Kucing (5).

The event ended with some sharing from representatives of each group on what they have learned, followed by prize-giving and a group photo. The categories were “Paling Awesome”, “Paling Happening”, “Paling Trendy” and “Paling Segalanya”. The winners were Kucing, Harimau, Ular and Kambing respectively.
