A PICTURE SPEAKS THOUSAND WORDS

On the 1^st of October, Sakura Editorial Board organized an event entitled ‘A Picture Speaks Thousand Words’. The aim of this event was to share about ways making an eye catching poster by using Photoshop software. 

The event started with a sharing session by Ainur Amira Aliya, former Graphic Designer Sakura Editorial Board. She shared a lot of important things that are needed to create an amazing poster. She also highlighted that a good poster would comprised every information about something.

She also reminded the participants to make sure that the layout of the poster suitable with the title of the poster. Besides, she taught every inch how to use the Photoshop software as many of participants never utilize it in their life.  

 The event continued with a competition of making a poster based on the method that already been taught by Amira. The title of poster is ‘Save The Earth’. Each of the participant needed to make a poster in an hour and the poster will be presented. The judges of this competition were Amira and two of the Graphic Designer Sakura Editorial Board, Andrianna and Izah.

After a few minutes judging the poster, the judges finally have made their decisions. The winner of this competition was Irene Josephine, the 2^nd place was Amirah Mazlin and the 3^rd place was Syabrinah. Before the event ended, Yasmin as the program director gave the gusest, Ainur Amira Aliya a gift as an appreciation.
