On the 13th of April 2018, Jawatankuasa Surau Kolej Sakura (JASSA) organized a talk in conjunction of Israk & Mikraj. The talk was held at Dewan Kristal, HEPA from 7.30 p.m. to 10.00p.m.
The invited speaker was Mr. Fadly bin Hasbi, a reknown speaker and activist from Humanitarian Care Malaysia (MyCARE), an NGO organization. The 37-year-old speaker from Kuching is known for his involvement on fighting the rights of Palestine.
With the arrival of the invited speaker, Sakura College's principal, Cik Siti Nor Ain, Cik Puteri Azira binti Azmin, Assistant Felo and the program's director, Hafizah Yusof, the talk began. The event continued with a beautiful recitation of Asma ul Husna and a doa to bless the night. The talk then started with a short introduction of the invited speaker, Mr. Fadly bin Hasby.
Mr Fadly
spoke on the importance of us helping and giving aids to the needy
especially to our brothers and sisters in Palestine. He also highlighted
on the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Quran. As it was Israk Mikraj, he also talked on the hardships Prophet Muhammad SAW went through to fight for his religion.
Before
the talk ended, he opened a Question and Answer session for the
participants. The audiences asked a lot of informative questions and Mr Fadly was able to answer each and every question precisely.
The talk ended with a token of appreciation given to Mr Fadly by Cik Siti Nor Ain on behalf of Sakura College. A group photo session was done to commemorate the memories of the evening.
