Perjumpaan Pengetua, Felo dan Pelajar II

Unusual from previous semesters and years, this time, another Perjumpaan Pengetua, Felo dan Pelajar has been held twice in which this subsequent one was prior to the end of the semester. Fell on Wednesday of May 25th, 2016 at 7.00 PM, the second meeting took place due to some temporary changes on the semester break as well as the registration for new students for the upcoming semester.

The major topic covered was, “more for the First Year students’ attentions”, as Cik Siti Noor Ain, the Principal of Sakura College, stated before she proceed with the talk, in which later she also claimed that the information are important to be taken into account by another students from another years of studies too.

The concerns are due to the upcoming Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) that Sarawak is the host of which in line with it, UNIMAS, unexceptionally Sakura College, will be involved in providing facilities such as residency to all the athletes from all around Malaysia. Therefore, students who wished to stay to complete their demands during the semester break, unfortunately has to be turned down since UNIMAS will be involved wholly during the SUKMA, plus, the fact that there will be no offer of intersession this semester.

Another big concern that discussed was on the expectation of a higher number of new students that UNIMAS will be accepting for the upcoming semester, in which the placement for the current students in Sakura College will be slightly affected. Cik Siti Noor Ain relieving-ly added, “as long as the online pre-registration have been completed and you’ve participated in many activities, it will be possible to stay”, in an effort to control the worry in the students after the announcement.

Other matters covered were on the store payment and form to be filled in for LI students. Before the meeting proceed to the Q&A session, Cik Siti Noor Ain also took the chance to read out and answer accordingly to the submissions, be it suggestions or questions, in the form of writing into the box provided in the Sakura College Office a few days prior to the meeting. Cik Siti Noor Ain, too, wished well all the students for the upcoming final examination which will be in just another three weeks. 

The Perjumpaan Pengetua, Felo dan Pelajar was also attended by Madam Noor Aliah as well as Miss Noorfaridah, which are the Felos of Sakura College. The meeting was finished by 10.
