All
over the world, young women like yourselves are enjoying the experience of camping.
Last
7th & 8th of April, Executive Discipline and Safety
Sakura planned and carried out the first recorded Ladies Camp. The ladies of
this committee members attended weekly meetings to plan, execute, and report
their camp experiences. The camp fee was just RM50 per girl! 46 ladies and 2 fellows
joined the camp. To get to the camp, the ladies travelled Kuching by Unimas bas to a location that was Pusat
Latihan Awam Demak (PUSPA). Wherever camp is held, one thing is sure: young
women love to go to camp!

Camp
has always been a favourite activity because it is at camp that you can
establish a mini home. Your tent becomes your home, and there you can gather
all the essentials you need to be happy and comfortable and progressing.
Although this time was
in rainy season fortunately we managed to pitched our cottage and tent.
Survival |
At
camp you can discover that the Lord is great. He has provided this beautiful
earth for us to enjoy and preserve. Plus, you learn that you really don’t need
much to be happy. You leave your makeup and music behind and learn to become
self-sufficient.
As
we participate in this wonderful opportunity and leave the world for a few
short days to camp with our friends , actually we will learn a something new. Around
2 p.m. we headed to Unimas.
Overall,
the camp was great. Even though students are on their semester break, they had
make the most out of their time to help them prepared for the future. By
joining this camp, students not only make every second of their time count but
will also possibly walk away with new insights and ideas for their career
growth.
