A Night To Remember



            A Night To Remember was held on the 1st of April by the Exco of Art and Culture in order to appreciate the senior members of Expresso Club. In her speech, the Programme Director, Ms Dayang Nur Liyana Binti Awang Sarbini also informed that the event was to commemorate the effort made by the participants of Citrawarna 2016 in which they achieved the 3rd place as well as to officialise the name of the club which is Expresso. Among those who attended were Ms Siti Nor Ain Binti Haji Musa, Ms Noorfarida Binti Saini, Dr Nor Hasmaliana Binti Abdul Manas, the choreographer, Mr Fred Kama and the assistant choreographer, Mr Jackson Ging.
            After the speech by Ms Dayang Nur Liyana, the participants of the event were presented with a montage video of the preparation before Citrawarna, during as in a video of the entire dance, and after which were photos taken celebrating winning the 3rd place. It was immediately followed by presentations of certificates to the active members of the club by unit. The active member for Unit Tarian was received by Ms Nurul Fatihah Binti Mohd Ridzuan; Unit Nyanyian by Alvia Binti Marcellinus; Unit Drama by Aishah Binti Muhamad; Unit Tatarias by Rennielyn Rupert which was received on her behalf by a representative of the Unit; Nur Fatin Haifa Binti Bahruddin for Unit Kreativasi.




            Then, the dinner commenced while accompanied by acoustic performances of the songs; Cheap Thrills and Pencuri Hati. Ms Nurul Fatihah was called upon to share her experience while a part of the club. She shared her first experience joining a competition during one of the editions of BRC Week in which she felt embarrassed as her tiara fell during the performance. The sharing was followed by more acoustic performances of several songs. Among them are Love Yourself, Tong Hua and Cari Jodoh.


            With popular request, Mr Jackson Ging came up and sang a song titled Bahagiamu Deritaku dedicated to all that attended as well as those unable to attend the event. Mr Fred Kama also sang a song by the title Tulus. A gift of appreciation was presented to Mr Fred Kama at his service as choreographer and Mr Jackson Ging as assistant photographer. The event ended with a group photo.
