SAKURA TALENT SHOW

On Sunday, 30th September 2018, an event called Sakura Talent Show was held. This took place at the pathway between Allamanda College and Sakura College. This event is a platform for students to share their hidden talents, other than to get to know each other more since the precondition for them to join the talent show was to collaborate with students from other apartments.

The registration started at 7:00pm by using the QR code scanning. By 7:30pm almost all of the students already gathered. Some of them were seated at the chairs provided by the organizers while some chose to sat near the volleyball court to get the better view of the main stage and all the performances. The registration ended at 7:45pm.

With the arrival of the VIPs, the Principal of Sakura College, Miss Siti Nor Ain Binti Haji Musa, followed by the felo of Sakura College, Miss Noorfarida binti Saini, the event started at 8pm. The two MCs began the night by cracking few jokes that manages to lighten everyone up.

There were 12 performances in total in which mostly comprises of Tarian Etnik, Tarian Moden, singing and drama. The line up of the performers were:

5.     Three Idiots

6.     Sakura GEM

7.     Po-A-Oes

8.     Fusion Girls

9.     Stephanie Ooi

12.  Evergreen

The long-awaited moments finally arrived when Miss Siti Nor Ain Binti Haji Musa was invited to the stage together with the program’s director, Joana Peter to give away souvenirs for the guest judges, Shirlyma Imma Anak Ugat and Yong Lee Ling as a token of appreciation and also prizes to the winning groups. The results were as follow:

1^st place: Sakura GEM

2^nd place: Fussion Girls

3^rd place: Sumayao

1^st consolation prize: Evergreen

2^nd consolation prize: Zomzee

The event ended at around 10:00pm and students were informed to signed out using their QR Code at their respective block.
