SAKURA KENYALANG : ZUNBA (28RD NOVEMBER 2016)

In conjunction with Sakura Kenyalang Festival, the college organized a Zunba dance which is opened to all students of Unimas. The program are started from 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m at  Gelanggang Kolej Sakura.

         3.30 p.m rolled around and in came a few of the Zumba instructor, there were about 15 or 20 people there for the event and instructor seemed to spot all the new people straight away which was very comforting.

         Each song brings a new set of steps, but they were pretty easy to pick up.  I am not sure how they managed to remember all the steps, but it looked very funky with everyone in unison! Some participant laugh at their lack of co-ordination for a few moves and  could hear similar chuckles from others in the group as we found their arms and legs going in very different directions to instructor’s at the front of the stage.

        Participants were enjoying themselves so much that they didn’t even noticed that they was jumping around for a whole hour.

        This is definitely a fun way to get fit and the added bonus was just how lovely the other people in the event were.The event ended at 5.30 p.m.
