Cosplay & Light Modern Dance



        A cosplay event as well as light modern dance was held at the main stage of Sakura@Kenyalang Festival on 26th November at night. The cosplay event was a combination of shows by 8 participants. The light modern dance is a dance competition on the premise of the usage of glow-in-the-dark sticks within the dance routine.


           The first show of the cosplay event is two students portraying the characters, Pikachu and Meowth from the animation series or more appropriately called anime, Pokemon. Part of their show is a fight scene between the two pokemons with their own props and background music and sound. Next was a performance of the opening song of Kuroko no Basket by a student portraying Kuroko Tetsuya, the main character of the anime. Followed by, characters from Tokyo Ghouls, Touka Kirishima and Rize Kamishiro, L. Lawliet from Death Note, Konan from Naruto and No Face from Spirited Away.

 
 
           Immediately after the cosplay, the first group, Ineffable from Sakura College came up on stage with their dance routines with the ribbons. Followed by, Vixen Villains also from Sakura College in their read and black attire and last but not least, participation from outside by an all-boys dance group, Kapinja KRC.

         At the end of the event, were presentation of certificates to the participants of the cosplay event whereas the winners of the light modern dance competition will be announced during the closing ceremony of Sakura@Kenyalang Festival on the 29th November 2016.
