On
the 28th November 2016, a robotic exhibition was held at the Car
Park of Block C in conjunction with the Sakura@Kenyalang Festival. There were 3
robotic exhibit. Two of them were by students of SMK Jalan Arang and the final
one were two robots borrowed from the Faculty of Engineering.
The
first robotic exhibit shows the mechanism of how a vending machine works by the
use of sensors. The second one is a robotic arm capable of grabbing items and
sorting them according to colour. The final one is two robots remote-controlled
by phone capable of playing soccer with each other with directions from the
handler. Visitors were given a chance to use the exhibit and learn more about
them.
A
representative of the students of SMK Jalan Arang were called to the stage to
receive certificates from the President of Student Representative Committee of
Sakura College, Ms Wan Azliza whom is also the Program Director of
Sakura@Kenyalang Festival. There was also a group photo of the students.
