SAKURA@KENYALANG : ORIGAMI CLASS

SUNDAY(27 NOV 2016)- In conjunction with Sakura Kenyalang Festival, the college organized a origami class program. The program were held at Seminar Room from 1.30pm to 4.00pm. The program had invited 'sensei' (teacher) from Sarawak-Japan friendship club. Besides that, the origami class have 3 sessions which was lead by a tutor, Mr. David Ling Chuh Hir.


Origami is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. For the first session, the participant were taught to folded a crane envelope.


For the next  session, Mr. David teach the participant on how to fold an origami of Christmas tree.


In the third session, the participant had to do an origami of peacock. Mr. David told that the folding of the peacock was the most complicated and advance stage.


Our principle would not miss a chance in joining together making the origami. The program had ended at 4.00 pm with a photo together with participant.
