Colour
Run in conjunction with Sakura@Kenyalang Festival was held on the 26th
November 2016. With an estimated overall number of participants of 500, the
event was full of colours. The route in which the participants ran were from
BHEP to Cempaka College to PITAS, then to Allamanda College, to Dahlia College
and finally, the run ended at FSTS Car Park.
Before
the run, the participants were lead through a series of warm-up exercises to
loosen their muscles and reduce the risk of injuries. Though as precaution,
trained medical professional were on standby for any medical needs.
The
first hundred runners were given a medal. At the end of the event, it can be
seen that the participants had a lot of fun, were covered in colour powder of
many different colours and the roads were filled with colours.
